Celebrating 50 years of education, activism, and sponsorship in the San Diego region

2011 marks a momentous occasion for C3: our Golden Anniversary!  It's been 50 years since a handful of citizen activists decided to work together to preserve San Diego's unique environment.

C3 celebrated on October 6th, 2011 by recognizing San Diego's extraordinary and innovative contributions in planning over the past half century. The celebration included recognition of pivotal events and/or decisions that have significantly helped shape San Diego's built and natural environment, while also looking forward to where the legacy of good decisions may carry our region; and the introduction of C3's updated vision for the San Diego region, entitled "Sustainable Paradise!"  This document builds upon C3's founding documents "Temporary Paradise?" and "Toward Permanent Paradise."
