School Bonds:

Flying Under the Radar?

With the passage of Proposition 39 in 2000 lowering voter approval from 2/3 to 55% for general obligation bonds, there has been a flood of new school bond programs. These new bonds account for billions of dollars spent locally on school construction, yet the majority of the public knows little about what has been accomplished and how much money has been actually been spent.

Join us on Thursday, April 25th for a spirited dialogue of the accomplishments, challenges, and controversies associated with school bond programs.
