C-3 Presents:

Dealing With the Drought Through Recycling - A Tour of San Diego's Pure Water Facility

C-3 is pleased to offer the second program in its new series, focusing on interesting people and current issues.  These members-only events allow more personal engagement for a small audience.

Light refreshments are provided.

Admission to this event is free.

San Diego has made a major commitment to addressing its water supply needs through a program of recycling up to 80 million gallons of wastewater daily.  Eventually, this will satisfy over one-third of the city’s water needs through a locally owned and controlled resource.  This program will consist of a tour of the first facility serving the Pure Water program, followed by a discussion with senior staff of the Public Utilities Department regarding the city’s long-range water supply plans.

Registration is limited to the first 25 C-3 members who respond.
