San Diego Canyonlands is a 2006 UCSD-TV documentary that explores the value of the region's canyons and profiles the passionate advocates who are committed to preserving these unique natural treasures and creating a County-wide San Diego Canyonlands Park. Temporary Paradise? is a visionary 1974 report to the City of San Diego by urban planners Donald Appleyard and Kevin Lynch. Toward Permanent Paradise is C-3's update of Temporary Paradise? with application of its principles to the challenges that have arisen as concerns about conserving regional environmental resources have redirected growth into existing communities. It includes an invitation to County residents to join in developing recommendations for San Diego's future landscape through public forums and an accompanying workbook.
